The ending finished with a mysterious memo, leaving everyone to wonder whether or not there is going to be a third season.

Earlier this year, premiering and finishing on August 1, the second season of the hit franchise built upon the drama and intrigue that set its first season viral.

Penned by Kwak Young-im and directed by Lim Dae-woong and Park Hyung-won, the show continued to delve into issues of power, vengeance, and social class within the high school institution of Cheongdam International High.

At the heart of the drama is Kim Hye-in (Lee Eun-saem), a low-income student who successfully insinuates herself into the high-flying "Diamond 6" clique.

Her intricate past with Baek Je-na (Kim Ye-rim), who was once a rival and is now a friend, led to a vendetta against the scheming classmate Min Yul-hee (Park Si-woo), offering viewers a satisfying emotional payoff

Season 2 expanded its ensemble by introducing new characters such as Cha Jin-wook (Kim Min-kyu) and Lee Sa-rang (Won Kyu-bin), along with returning actors Kim Hae-in (Jang Sung-yoon) and Seo Do-eon (Lee Jong-hyuk), who contributed more emotional complexity and plot twists to the story

Even though the season is over, the cryptic message presented during the finale has kept fans talking online.

Fans have been asking, "What did that last message mean?" and "Are we getting Season 3?" on social media, expressing ongoing interest and excitement about what the show will offer next.

The show had robust viewership on various platforms. On Netflix in South Korea, it hit No. 2 and stayed in the Top 4 on its last week. It also topped domestic platforms Wavve and TVING.

Outside South Korea, Bitch x Rich 2 did well on Asian platforms, topping:

#1 on Indonesia

#2 on the Philippines

#4 in Hong Kong

#5 in Malaysia

#6 in Thailand

(Viu's weekly chart, July 21–27)

The show also entered Rakuten Viki's Top 15 in its first week and held a Top 10 position in 79 countries by its third week, including the United States, France, India, and the UAE. In Japan, it topped the Korean-Chinese drama rankings on ABEMA TV.

Although a third season has not yet been announced, the cliffhanger ending and global fan base of Bitch x Rich 2 have kept fans optimistic about the franchise's comeback.
