Actress Lee Se Hee, who has a quirky personality, has found herself in trouble after her guesting on MBC's The Manager.

While she first gained admiration for her on-screen, down-to-earth aura, viewers are now wondering if her on-show conduct was done for effect.
A post with the headline "Lee Sehee's unbelievable persona? Why the production team is being criticized" made the rounds on an online forum in recent times.
Most were taken aback after seeing another side of Lee on the show, where even her manager praised her "weird" personality.
When Lee originally came on The Manager in July, the show placed No. 1 in its time period with a 3.2% rating among viewers.
But her second coming in August left people questioning. Her odd and straight-talking moments, which previously charmed audiences, are now raising eyebrows.
In the broadcast, Lee was caught allowing water to spill over when filling an ice tray, reading a book that was printed upside down, taking her dog Kangi for a walk, retrieving a broken umbrella, splashing cold water on her knit top, and lying in the grass.
She also shocked panelists when she removed a stack of blankets from within a double-paneled window frame, an area that typically holds insulation.

Subsequently, she dressed in clothes fresh out of the washing machine without drying them first.
Reactions have been mixed. Some viewers criticized the episode, writing, "This is so staged," "Not even normal people do that," "A top actress walking around with a broken umbrella?" and "Wearing knitwear in wet grass is too much."

No statement has come from Lee's agency on the scandal.
Recently, actress Lee Se Hee recently went viral after 2023 poolside photos resurfaced showing her fully covered in black swim gear, including a cap and goggles.
She explained the choice was to block UV rays, but the unusual outfit quickly drew attention online. Fans reacted with a mix of laughter and admiration, praising her playful charm.
Many commented that her candid personality would make her a perfect guest on variety shows, further boosting interest in her off-screen presence.
