Chef Shin Jong-cheol went into detail about his quirky but touching relationship with veteran actress Sunwoo Yongyeo during the most recent episode of MBN's Altoran.

Comedian Park Sung-kwang accompanied the visit, providing viewers with an inside look into the chef's everyday life.

While looking through the refrigerator, Park saw it was loaded with carefully made side dishes. Shin told him they were brought by two special people in his life.

He stated, "I have two mothers. My biological mother is in Jeju, and Sunwoo Yong-nyeo's mother is in Seoul."

Park was surprised, and he asked hesitantly, "Is that the person I know??"

Remembering how their relationship started, he went on, "Eleven years ago, she came to our hotel to have breakfast alone, and since she was similar in age to my mother in Jeju, I took care of her, and that's how our connection began. She comes to every hotel I go to and continues to have breakfast in the morning."

The actress herself has already had a statement about her affection for buffet eating. In her YouTube account, she once said, "I love buffets. I have to go twice a week."

While live-streaming, Shin told that his refrigerator was full of kimchi made by Sunwoo Yongyeo.

He presented the dishes proudly, saying, "All the kimchi in my refrigerator was made by Seonwoo Yong-yeo's mother," with both green onion kimchi and cabbage kimchi. T

The actress, who has been a household name in Korean entertainment for decades, has a son and daughter, both of whom live in the United States.
