On Aug. 29, the actor posted a running record on his social story along with a candid analysis of his body condition.

He observed, "My first 400 interval run after surgery, when my heart was so heavy my upper body couldn't handle it. I couldn't even do a 420 pace. I've already started, so it's already halfway there."
The update was a picture of his fitness data, recording his distance and velocity. Fans praised him for acknowledging the challenges of beginning to work out after major surgery, most of them admiring him for not giving up.
