Entertainment actor and publishing CEO Park Jung-min is gaining widespread attention for his tireless pace of activity in both entertainment and publishing, blurring the boundaries between art and business.

With the movie 'Face' (directed by Yeon Sang-ho) scheduled to hit the theaters on September 11, Park is abiding fully in promotions, appearing on various web entertainment platforms to create buzz.
But his work is seen off the big screen, too. Park, who in June on tvN's You Quiz on the Block revealed he owns a publishing house called "Untitled," continues to promote his brand with his high-profile media spots.

Responding to host Yoo Jae-suk's remark that he is taking a hiatus from acting, Park set the record straight.
"The words 'hiatus' and 'sabbatical year' have never come out of my mouth," he explained live on air.
"It was a bit of an oversight. I said, 'I'm just going to take a break for a year,' but suddenly articles came out saying 'hiatus, retirement, sabbatical year.' That's why people keep worrying."

He also admitted to errors in communication. "I'm going to retract my statement. I made a mistake.
I'm the CEO of a company and I'm in a position to promote the author's work, so I did everything that came my way," he continued.
Even with his sincere promotional attempts, backlash ensued. Following Park's television appearance, the company was flooded with prank and unrelated calls, a statement by publisher Muje through their official social media accounts said.

"Since the broadcast, we've been receiving an excessive number of prank calls and unrelated calls to the landline number listed on the back of the book, which has been disrupting our work," the company stated.
The disturbance allegedly caused falling sales. On Magic Park's Happiness Alert (Aug. 29), one staffer from Muje expressed concern. "Sales have dropped significantly," said Director A.

Park himself confessed to being overwhelmed by the reaction. "I got rid of my phone (after 'You Quiz')... When I got 10 calls a day, I could tell I was going crazy," he added.
Nevertheless, Park continued, guesting on the YouTube channels of Calm Man and blind content creator One Shot Hansol, where he did an interview in the dark—an experiment that appealed to many viewers.

While the multi-gifted personality keeps straddling his role as an actor and CEO, Park Jung-min—who is now affectionately referred to as "Woo Won-bak" (our one-deal Park Jung-min)—is keeping fans wondering what the next boundary he will push.
