Min Hyo-rin, an actress, has come back to the limelight after almost a year of silence following furore over not attending a highly awaited TV reunion.

According to Nate, the limelight refocuses attention on her sustained influence in the showbiz industry amid a prolonged break.

Min was a hot topic for not making an appearance in the MBC special "I'm Sunny Thank You," broadcast last month.

The show brought together the cast of the popular 2011 film "Sunny," which included Kang So-ra, Kim Bo-mi, Kim Min-young, and more. Her not showing up, as per Sports Chosun, generated rumors and disappointment from fans and viewers.

After the broadcast, some critics were frustrated. One person commented online, "Her absence is a nuisance," while others claimed that the show had lost its emotional punch without her.

However, plenty of people endorsed the actress. A few fans highlighted the cast's enduring connection, writing, "While it's understandable that she felt disappointed not seeing her, some criticized her as being a nuisance," indicating a conflict in public opinion.

This week, Min Hyo-rin posted a personal bulletin online, her first in about 11 months. She posted a photo and replied to fellow Sunny co-star Kim Min-young, who had written, "I miss you."

Min Hyo-rin responded, "Let's meet soon," a plain but straightforward message which effectively stamped out rumors of conflict within the cast.

Min has largely stayed in the background since her marriage to singer Taeyang and giving birth to their child.

Her few public appearances and social media updates often attract publicity. A personal picture last year fueled rumors of a second pregnancy after she was reportedly spotted looking different, renewing her popularity on online communities.

Although there was criticism earlier, the recent activity of the actress has rekindled interest from fans and media alike.

As one of the commenters posted, "She still has a hot presence," referring to the lasting influence of her popularity.
