As per Allkpop, the moment took place on September 30 during the VIP premiere of "Boss" in Seoul director Ra Hee Chan's film.

When a fan gave a half finger heart on the photo wall, Hyun Bin instead gripped their hand and replied with a handshake.

Lifestyle store Eyesmag posted the video with the cheeky caption: "A man who won't make hand hearts unless it's with Son Ye Jin unnie... Hyun Bin, the perfect wall."

Netizens soon filled the comment boxes with light-hearted responses. One posted, "Ri Jeong Hyuk and Yoon Se Ri forever."

Another posted, "He only makes hearts for Son Ye Jin." Others followed with comments like, "Hearts reserved for his wife only," and "The model married man—no fan service hearts."

As the video went viral, even Son Ye Jin herself contributed to the buzz by posting smiling face with sunglasses and thumbs-up emojis that had fans taking it as her mischievous approval.

But not all thought romance was involved in the act. Some netizens opined Hyun Bin might not have understood what the fan meant.

One of them wrote, "He probably thought they just wanted a handshake." Another added, "Looked like castanets." Others added, "He didn't recognize it at all," and "Maybe he thought it was a new handshake style."

The Chosun Daily emphasized that the public image of Hyun Bin as a committed husband has enhanced such a viral moment.

He has been married to actress Son Ye Jin since 2022, and they had their first son later that year. They are still one of Korea's most venerated celebrity couples.

Whether a deliberate move or a mere misunderstanding, the clip has asserted Hyun Bin's image among fans as a "model married man" who reserves his heart gestures solely for his wife.
