According to Allkpop, the actress posted several photos and videos of her baby all dressed up for the holiday on Instagram. In the post, Lee penned, "Christmas has arrived at our home. And at last, the final version of Sssik Sssik's born art has arrived. A beautiful Christmas card and frame we'll be keeping forever. Thank you."

The new photos featured her newborn dressed in a Santa outfit and hat surrounded by ornaments, a Christmas tree, and gifts in boxes. The finished photo shoot was made into framed displays and holiday cards displayed around Lee's home.

According to a report from Naver, the upload once again raised controversy over "born art," a style of newborn photography that some netizens consider overly fancy.

Lee had previously uploaded on November 21 a video featuring her 17-day-old baby, dressed as Santa Claus and tucked inside a Christmas ornament box. The caption was, "How about me as this year's Christmas ornament?"

Some netizens commented, "It's uncomfortable to see a newborn styled like a decoration," and "The setup feels excessive." Others defended the shoot, responding that Born art is a common newborn photography style," "t's a standard technique done safely with proper support," and "It's simply a photo celebrating birth."

The following day, Lee removed the original video but did not provide any statement at that time. Her latest upload is reviving the earlier wave of mixed responses, however.

Some wrote, ""The photos are adorable," and "Turning them into cards makes it even more touching," while others said, "There was controversy before — she didn't have to post it again," and "This will probably spark the same debate."

Lee Si Young, who gave birth to her second daughter this year, still regularly posts about her family life and parenting journey on Instagram. With people's opinions still sharply divided, the debate over newborn "born art" photography won't soon be settled.
