K-drama remakes are intended to replicate the success of various television shows from different countries across the globe, but not every remake of an original series is successful in creating a sense of connection with the viewer.
Some issues that may have contributed to poor reception among each remake could include low audience ratings, a gap between cultures or execution errors. Although review scores, viewer ratings, and fan reactions can provide insight as to why this has occurred, below are 10 examples of K-drama remakes that fell flat with viewers.
