Per Xports News, "The Price of Confession" follows Yoon-soo, portrayed by Jeon, who is accused of murdering her husband, and Mo-eun, played by Kim, a mysterious figure rumored to be a witch. The series centers on the psychological tension between two women bound by secrets, rather than overt action, placing heavy emphasis on restraint and emotional control.

In the past, Kim had expressed that she liked the candid nature of Jeon's character and that she liked receiving praise for her acting from a senior cast member. In responding to this compliment, Jeon expressed how she judges acting now that she is a mature actress before continuing, "I'm not only a senior, but also a viewer, and I thought actress Kim Go-eun did a great job."

"Anh-ag's role is a highly technically challenging role because Mo-eun is a character who is expressed with very little display of his emotions on the surface," added Jeon.

This observation led to his conclusion that playing a character who is emotionally expressionless is an art that calls for a lot of skill, discipline, and control, particularly when filming with another actor whose acting might cause a scene to go emotionally astray. The reporting of the interview is attributed to Naver.

The actress also spoke about the nature of appreciation within the industry, stating that praise is sometimes a result of an appreciation for how difficult a particular role might be.

In order to introduce this section, Jeon stated the reasons why compliments can sometimes mean more before continuing with her explanation that the appreciation Kim received was because of how difficult it is to keep the emotional line of her character.

The last time Jeon and Kim worked together is when they appeared in the movie "Memories of the Sword." In relation to her reunion with Kim, Jeon expressed her thoughts on how far Kim has developed as a professional.

In order to discuss how she views Kim's development, Jeon shared that "I think she's grown so much and so dazzlingly over the past 10 years.."

In a different coverage by TV Report, the conclusion of that article stated that when Jeon assessed Kim, she did not set herself apart as a judge but as a fellow professional who is still working.

"The Price of Confession" is now available on Netflix.
