The incident involved South Korean actress Go Joon Hee who created a buzz on the internet when she revealed a personal experience in which she was exposed to a kind of "villainous" attitude in the acting industry. The actress revealed the incident on a YouTube session.

Go was a guest on the YouTube channel "Gangnam Unnie," where there was a discussion about experiences with what were called "workplace villains" among the casts. Go was talking about her experiences with an actress whom she had to work with on one of her previous projects.
The actress had a habit of blaming other people for her own mishaps. This particular content spread on social media very quickly. An article on Koreaboo reported that this particular clip had many views because of how emotionally draining such experiences can be for actors.

In explaining the experience, Go remembered another scene in which they were shooting and an NG shot occurred because of an error that wasn't corrected. Before retelling this experience, actress Go began to explain that she felt wrongly criticized by this situation. She continued by quoting the actor who said, "Jun Hee, get your pronunciation right."
The actress reported that the incident had been bothering her even after the completion of the shoot. When the incident went to a wrap-up party, the decision was made to confront the issue with the co-star.
Analysts reported that it is quite uncommon to see confrontations take place in a pyramidical setting, where deference to seniority is preferred to ensure that all are in harmony. According to MK News, Go realized that he has to speak up because it was considered to be a display of his conviction rather than maliciousness.
As Go narrated, this interaction resulted in no solution but rather a problem. The other actress seemed disoriented and rather than address the problem, she skirted around discussing the issue at hand. At one time, Go realized that the same problem had been experienced with her co-actors.
According to actors commented by MK News, self-doubt can emanate from constantly placing the blame on someone else, especially when in such high-stakes production environments.
