Ahn Jae Hyun, an actor and model, has discussed rumors that followed him early in his career. He did this with humor and also told an untold story about a K-pop music video that many people talked about. He said these things on a recent YouTube talk show hosted by broadcaster Hong Seok Cheon.
Hong put the video, called "The Top Gay's 2025th Confession: The Final Gem of 2025, Ahn Jae Hyun," on his YouTube channel Jewelry Box. The two entertainers, who have been friends for more than ten years, got back together in this episode.
Hong thought about their long friendship, which started when they worked together on the 2014 movie Fashion King, during the conversation. Before praising Ahn, Hong made a joke about his personality and behavior, saying, "Because Ahn Jae Hyun expresses his emotions so beautifully, I almost misunderstood him for a moment," and then praised his kind and thoughtful nature.
Ahn also thought about how popular he was even before he became a model. He told a story from his school days: "During my school days, I would prepare a bag in advance just to carry all the Pepero Day gifts, and I would intentionally arrive late to school." Hong also said that Ahn's looks naturally appeal to a wide range of people, adding to his praise for his looks.

Allkpop says that the most interesting part was when Ahn talked about the rumors that were going around about him when he was a young model. Before going into detail about his thoughts, Ahn said that he didn't see the rumors as bad.
He said that he was "actually thankful" for the rumors. He went on to say, "At the time, the fashion industry was heavily centered on women's wear, and I think those rumors came about because I was able to pull off that style well." He framed the situation as a professional compliment instead of a burden.
Ahn also talked about how he was in K.Will's music video "Please Don't..." which became famous for its surprising ending and story that included Seo In Guk. According to Tenasia, Ahn said he was surprised that the project was over. He said, "I had no idea the ending would be that shocking." as he revealed the news. I didn't know what the ending was until after all the filming was done.
He also said that after a later private meeting with Seo In Guk and K.Will, he suggested working together again, which led to the song "No Sad Song For My Broken Heart." Ahn thanked K.Will for giving him the chance and said that he was grateful for the chance to work on such a memorable project.
