On April 18, actor Song Joong-ki and his wife Katie Lewis Saunders attended the Gaon Soloists' 7th Regular Concert, titled "Scenes from Childhood," held at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center. This marked the couple's first official public appearance together since their marriage in 2023.

As per Naver, the event was also attended by musical actress Kim So-hyun and broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu, among others. Attendees and onlookers felt a notable warmth in the atmosphere when they revealed Katie's real-life appearance.
Musical actress Kim So-hyun took to social media after the event to share her thoughts. She described her encounter with the couple, saying, "Mr. Song Joong-ki, whom I met after a long time, and the kind and beautiful Katie."
Kim covered her mouth in admiration while looking at Katie, capturing a genuine and unpretentious reaction in the accompanying photo.

Jang Sung-kyu, a broadcaster, also discussed the mood of the event, saying, "The Song Joong-ki couple, who joined us for the narration, were also truly wonderful," according to MK Sports.
Even though the couple was a little shy during the group photo because they wanted to avoid being a distraction from the main performers, their looks drew a lot of attention right away.
