In 2014, fans will be able to see their favorite actors and actresses in three historical dramas. The first of the three is KBS historical drama "Jung Do Jun" which is comprised of 60 episodes.
Jung Do Jun is a drama relighting the person Jung Do Jun, the central figure in establishing the Cho Sun dynasty. Actor Jo Jae Hyun plays Jung Do Jun, and actor Yoo dong Geun plays Lee Sung Kye, who collaborated with Jung Do Jun and became the first king of the Cho Sun dynasty.
In addition to the premiere of Jung Do Jun," on January 15, KBS Wednesday Thursday drama "Inspiring Generation" premiers. It is a shorter drama of 24 episodes, and features singer and actor Kim Hyun Joon and new actress Im Soo Hyang.
MBC is preparing "Emperor Pa Chun" and "Dae Jang Geum 2" this year. "Pa Chun Wang" tells a story of Lee Bang Won, the fifth son of Lee Sung Kye, the first king of Cho Sun dynasty, and the political controversies of Lee Bang Won and Jung Do Jun.
"Dae Jang Geum 2" is one of the ten dramas MBC is preparing in 2014. Last year, when MBC celebrated the tenth anniversary of the original "Dae Jang Geum," they solidified its plans for "Dae Jang Geum 2."
