Not everything at this year's CES is extravagant. Almost everything at the trade show includes technology, but there's more to the story than that.

The folks at CES might be trying to sell a whole new lifestyle to the Las Vegas crowd; approximately 1 million visitors are expected to the show and what better way to make an impression than now.

Of course, you'll want to excuse some of the mishaps that happened earlier with Dave Myers walking off the Samsung presentation due to a failed teleprompter. There may have been a couple of other guffaws that might have occurred, but the general public will be getting a peek into the future of technology.

Basically everything at the show includes sensors, whether its your phone, a watch, a bracelet or something attached to your knapsack. All this technology might be a little over the top, but you still have to give credit to the people who worked awfully hard to create some of these ordinary devices so they can display at the CES 2014.

When there's sensors galore, there is also a lot of robotics involved. Analysts say that the sensors are not about digitizing or making everything either gesture or voice controlled. The technology available at CES is mostly about doing everyday things and doing it comfortably. It might be about taking medication more accurately or reminding you to take it on time.

It is also about personal health and measuring various gauges on your child to see if everything is ok with his health. One company has attached Internet censored to a jumpsuit that can monitor a baby wirelessly.

Moving along to privacy, Voxx International has designed a gadget called Myrus that can unlock computers and similar devices by staring at it. Sounds like a James Bond movie but tech lovers are going to love it.
