Kim Soo Hyun Is A Top Star In China

Kim Soo Hyun proves his 'top star' status, not only in Korea, but also in China.

According to his management company KeyEast Entertainment, the actor ranked number one in the "actor of the day" category of online engine Baidu, surpassing Lee Min Ho who came in second, and Taiwanese star Jimmy Lin on third. Likewise, his drama "Man From The Stars" ranked number one on Baidu's Korean drama chart, while his previous drama "The Sun and The Moon" ranked third.

On PPTV, a video sharing site, "Man From The Stars" has garnered over 7.5 million viewer hits, while "The Sun and The Moon" earned 1.3 million. His online fan communities and his Weibo account collectively gathered 920,000 fans as of January 14.

"Kim Soo Hyun has been garnering attention from Chinese fans, press and commercial companies around the time he participated for "The Sun and The Moon"," a representative from KeyEast reported. "He has been scheduled to appear in various Chinese newspapers and broadcasting platforms, and we are currently preparing for his Asia tour which will kick off once his current drama has ended."
