A controversy has spawned after the Golden Globes 2014 awards night and it is between "Transformers" star Shia LaBeouf and talented comedian Jim Carrey.

While onstage at the Golden Globes 2014, Jim Carrey said, "Dying is easy. Comedy is hard...I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that."

The "Transformers" star Shia LaBeouf then took to Twitter to speak his mind about the Golden Globes 2014 awards show moment.

"If you explain @JimCarrey you've killed him, Nobody knows if it's for real or not. That way he's immortal," Shia wrote.

Shia LaBeouf then posted a YouTube video of Jim's daughter's band, "The Jane Carrey Band", and called Jim Carrey out for his parenting skills.

"At least I don't get arrested for indecency on major LA highways! Or abandon love child's," Shia LaBeouf tweeted.

Shia LaBeouf immediately had a change of heart over Twitter and wrote an apology to Jim Carrey

"Jim Carrey states that he is deeply involved in his daughter's life. I accept that. Regret tweet on the matter. Apologies to both parents."

Shia LaBeouf added, "I am not famous anymore." Oh, glad we cleared that up.

That doesn't stop there. The twitter meltdown of the actor wasn't finished and wrote on his Twitter account that he was "retiring from all public life" because of "the recent attacks against my artistic integrity."

Shia LaBeouf became a source of controversy after it was revealed last December that he had plagiarized his short-film directorial debut, "HowardCantour.com," from a comic by Daniel Clowes.

According to the Huffington Post, Shia LaBeouf apologized for the incident, but even his shows of regret were called into question. He plagiarized apologies, both famous and not, on his Twitter account, and later hired a skywriting company to spell out "I Am Sorry Daniel Clowes" over the skies Los Angeles.

Shia LaBeouf then posted a cease-and-desist letter from Daniel Clowes' legal representatives. The document was sent to Shia LaBeouf's lawyers following an allusion the "Transformers" star made on Twitter about potentially further plagiarizing Daniel Clowes' work. "Brian, your client is seriously out of control," the final paragraph of the letter read.
