"Empress Ki" Ha Ji Won is pregnant with Joo Jin Mo's child.

On the 22nd episode of MBC Monday Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" which aired on January 14, 2014, Ki Seung Nyang, played by Ha Ji Won, learned that she is pregnant with a child of Wang Yoo, played by Joo Jin Mo.

On this day's episode, Ki Seung Nyang was trying to let Mak Sang escape out of the castle who has been caught by Yeon Chul and his team. While doing so, Ki Seung Nyang got caught by Dang Gi Sae's robbers, got wounded while fighting against them, and ran away.

Ki Seung Nyang was able to save her life because of the help of Ta Hwan, played by Ji Chang Wook. While his doctor was giving Ki Seung Nyang a general checkup as ordered by Ta Hwan, the doctor realized that something was weird. When Ta Hwan said to the doctor that Ki Seung Nyang's face is too pale, the doctor said, "It is because she bled too much, but everything else is fine."

Later, the doctor took Ki Seung Nyang to a safe house and took the best care for her. When Ki Seung Nyang experienced morning sickness, Ki Seung Nyang pleaded the doctor to tell her the truth. The doctor then said, "Yes, you are pregnant. It has been at least three to four months since you have been pregnant. I cannot believe you fought, got stabbed by a knife, and bled with a baby inside."

Ki Seung Nyang cried at the news of her pregnancy.
