The 56th Annual Grammy Awards night was dominated by robots from France as Daft Punk took home two of the most important awards that night: Album of the Year for 'Random Access Memories' and Record of the Year for their hit single 'Get Lucky'.

It was not the only awards Daft Punk got that night as they also bagged Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the single and the best Dance/Electronica album. Pharell Williams, who sang the crowd-favorite dance floor anthem, also won Best Non-traditional Producer of the Year for his work on the seminal record.

"Electronic music right now is in its comfort zone and it's not moving one inch. That's not what artists are supposed to do," Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter told Rolling Stones about the record's innovative concept.

It was a sweet comeback victory for the names behind the iconic helmets, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo as it has been 8 years since 'Human After All', their last release.

Random Access Memories took the Electronica Duo Daft Punk to the top of the charts, even hitting Number One on the Billboard chart, which is a first in their 20-year plus career.

Pharrel was quoted saying on his acceptance speech to the duo, "You know honestly, I bet, France is really proud of these guys right now."

But that's not the only thing that made their Grammy appearance more special. Opting to stay out of the live circuit for the promotion of their latest album last year, Daft Punk took the Grammy stage along with Nile Rodgers, Pharrell and Stevie Wonder to the delight of the audience.

Pharrell and Stevie Wonder exchange verses, threading hits from "Get Lucky," "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," Chic's "Le Freak, to Wonder's "Another Star."

The duo revealed themselves 3 minute into the song, donning white helmets and spacemen uniform while manning an analog synth set. The Staples Center became a five-minute rave fest which got Beatle Paul McCartney and Ringo Star on their feet and dancing along the beat.

Yoko Ono, Beyonce, Steven Tyler and other celebrities were also shown getting down with the audience. It can be said that Daft Punk's win was more than just a case of getting lucky that night.
