Actor Lee Min Ho is to appear in the Chinese TV news in addition to the Chinese national TV's (CCTV) Chinese New Year special program "Choon Ji Ae Wan Hui (Choon Wan)."
Yesterday, an official spokesperson from Lee Min Ho's agency StarHaus said in an interview, "While a lot of the Chinese people are excited about Lee Min Ho, who is planning to make his appearance in Choon Wan, which would be the first time a Korean actor is on Choon Wan, Lee Min Ho will also make his appearance on CCTV San Ha Channel's news." The CCTV news reporter introduced actor Lee Min Ho as a Korean actor who is making a huge syndrome in China, and referred to the SBS drama "The Heirs," in which he portrayed the main character Kim Tan.
Lee Min Ho through the interview said, "I think this will be a great opportunity to give back the love I have received from my Chinese fans to them. I hope they are all healthy and happy this year. In Korea, we visit our families and eat rice cake soup in New Year's Day."
In related news, Lee Min Ho amassed his popularity in China with his role as Goo Joon Pyo in the drama "Boys Over Flowers," the movie "City Hunter," and recently as Kim Tan in the SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "The Heirs."
