A video clip of Taylor Swift, Prince William and Jon Bon Jovi sharing the mic for the Bon Jovi classic "Livin on a Prayer" at the Centrepoint charity went viral last November, but it's the first time that the country singer spoke about the unexpected collaboration.
Louise Gannon of Mail On Sunday's Event Magazine asked Ms Swift what she thought of the England future heir's voice:
"Well, both of us were more screaming than singing! But even through all that I could hear his voice and it is pretty good. A nice tone."
"I's definitely say he's got star quality, and if he ever wants me to sing with him again I'll be there!" she added.
The youngest Album of the Year Grammy awardee has been linked to several celebrities including One Direction's Harry Styles, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal. Gushing over the experience, Taylor admitted to keeping a DVD copy of the video as proof that she once sang alongside a royalty.
Asked about what made the evening special, the "Red" pop singer shared her experience:
"The whole evening was completely wondrous and felt so special from the start."
"Just walking through those be artfully ornate rooms and corridors in Kensington Palace, with string quartets playing and that sense of all those people in history who'd walked the same rooms, it was completely magical."
Swift though insisted that she did not expect to even meet Prince William.
"He came over, smiled and started talking to me. I'd never met him before but he was so charming, so easy to talk to."
"Kate wasn't with him and he actually sat next to me for the concert."
"Jon Bon Jovi got up to perform and he called Prince William out because he'd heard he loves singing Livin' On A Prayer on karaoke nights."
The prince then turned to her and said: "I'll do it if you do it, too."
What was shown in the video was the culmination of that sudden invitation.
"He took my hand. I was surprised and flattered and it felt surreal and completely natural at the same time."
"We jumped on the stage and started to sing and then we were really yelling into the microphone and clapping hands."
"I still can't believe I got to sing with Prince William. But I completely love him - and Kate," concluded Taylor.
