New Sonic The Hedgehog Designs Spark Negative Reactions From Fans! Several Pictures, Tweets Take Over The Internet
For those who might not know yet, Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog has a new look.
That's right - Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends apparently had a makeover. The new designs signify the celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog's existence for more than 20 years. So it's fitting for Sonic to change his look once in a while right? Well not quite; fans were horrified and not pleased about how Sonic and the others looked. This is enough to spark a fire of negative reactions as several tweets are made and pictures posted on the internet.
The new designs for the characters are a part of both a new animated TV show and video game called Sonic Boom. A trailer of both the TV and video game was released as you can see below.
Netizens took upon themselves to voice out their distain on how ridiculous the designs are and so they tweeted and post a couple of photoshopped images in the internet just to get their point. Here are examples below.
