Marc Anthony and Chloe Green have broken up. The couple has decided to call it quits after a year of dating, as confirmed by multiple reports. Sources blame busy schedules as the reason for the split, as both have hectic lives. An insider told Life & Style that Anthony is always on tour and traveling the world, so "it got to be too much."
The musician and the Topshop heiress first got together back in February 2013. Anthony was 44 years old then, while Green was only 21 (now they are 45 and 22 respectively). The relationship was said to have started when Green made an appearance with her father, Topshop head honcho and British billionaire Philip Green, at the launch of Topshop's first Los Angeles store. A number of celebrities attended the event, along with Anthony's ex-wife, pop star Jennifer Lopez.
The two were first spotted on a date at Disneyland in Anaheim, with Anthony's kids with Lopez - Max and Emme - in tow. Green was also reported to have had the blessing of her parents, with regards to the relationship.
The pair was rumored to have split up as early as April last year, but they quickly got back together and were photographed on holiday in St. Tropez soon after. They were seen holding hands and spending time aboard Green's father's yacht, together with Sir Philip Green, her mother Lady Tina, and her younger brother, Brandon. Anthony and Green were last seen together at the Grammy Awards in January, where they walked the red carpet in each other's arms.
Anthony was previously married to fellow singer Lopez for seven years before they separated in July 2011. They have yet to get divorced, but have since moved on to other partners. Anthony dated model Shannon De Lima after the break up in January 2012, but they fell apart in January 2013.
Green is no stranger to celebrity relationships as well. The shoe designer (she recently launched her own line of shoes for Topshop) was previously in a high profile relationship with former Made in Chelsea star, Ollie Locke. Their relationship, including the eventual split, was well-documented on the UK reality show.
