Hugh Jackman will be hosting the 68th Annual Tony Awards.
The Tony Awards for 2014 will be airing live from Radio Music Hall on CBS on June 8.
The Australian actor posted an Instagram video for fans to announce that he will indeed be hosting the Tony Awards.
Jackman charmingly says, "I couldn't wait another minute. I wanted you to be the first to know. This year, I am going to be hosting the Tony Awards."
He then blows his fans a kiss and adds, "See you then!"
This is more great news for Jackman, who will come back as Wolverine in "X-Men: Days of Future Past," which hits theaters in May.
According to "The Hollywood Reporter," the "Les Miserables" actor is well-respected in the Broadway community and has won the 2004 Tony for best actor in a musical for his role in "The Boy From Oz."
The actor has also made an incredible effort to raise money for the charity Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, being rewarded with a special Tony Award in 2012 as recognition for all his hard work.
CBS Entertainment executive Jack Sussman has said in a statement that he's "thrilled to have Hugh Jackman return to host the Tony Awards."
Sussman continues, "He's the ultimate triple threat - actor, singer, dancer - he does it all, second to none."
As Jackman returns to host, he will now match his Tony Awards hosting visits with "How I Met Your Mother" actor Neil Patrick Harris.
Harris is in the running this year for his role as an East German transgender rocker in the production of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch."
Will the two be in competition to host the Tony Awards next year?
