Comedy Central Comedian Nathan Fielder Owner Of Dumb Starbucks: ‘Nathan For You’ Star Plans To Open Parody Starbucks In Brooklyn, A New Stunt For Season 2

Comedy Central comedian Nathan Fielder has revealed himself as the owner of Dumb Starbucks.

The "Nathan For You" star will be playing a version of himself on Comedy Central as he helps struggling business owners by using funny and unorthodox strategies for season 2 of his show.

According to "The Hollywood Reporter," Felder has said that the coffee is "usually whatever Ralphs has on sale."

The Comedy Central comedian has stated that the Los Feliz location will be open until Friday as he plans to open another Dumb Starbucks in Brooklyn, NY.

A spokesperson for Starbucks has expressed displeasure for Fielder's Dumb Starbucks stating, "We are aware of the store - it is not affiliated with Starbucks."

He continued that while the humor is "appreciated," Fielder cannot use the Starbucks name.

Fielder stated, "They're smart in not pursuing a case they know they can't win. If they keep the pressure up, they do risk losing me as a customer."

According to "The Hollywood Reporter," in a Frequently Asked Questions page in the shop, it is stated that, "Although we are a fully functioning coffee shop, for legal reasons Dumb Starbucks needs to be categorized as a work of parody arts. So, in the eyes of the law, our 'coffee shop' is actually an art gallery and the 'coffee' you're buying is actually the art. But that's for our lawyers to worry about. All you need to do is enjoy our delicious offer."

In last season of "Nathan for you," Fielder had a pig rescuing a baby goat from drowning to get visitors to a struggling zoo.

The comedian's pranks seem to be for a good cause, but we'll have to see what happens with Dumb Starbucks as it expands.
