Julia Roberts' younger half sister, Nancy Motes, was found dead on Sunday in a home on North Bundy Drive at around 2p.m.

According to PEOPLE Magazine, Motes death was caused by "an apparent drug overdose."

Motes reportedly left a five-page suicide letter where she mentioned her tortured relationship with her Oscar-winning sister.

Robert's sister had a falling out with the "August: Osage County" actress after giving a tell-all interview that accused the actress of blocking access to their sick mother.

According to New York Daily News, the 37-year-old has appeared to be emotionally unstable in her posts via Twitter.

On January 20, she tweeted, "So my 'sister' said that with all her friends & fans she doesn't need any more love. Just so you all know 'America's Sweetheart' is a B----!!"

She added, "Do you want to be a fan of someone so cruel? She's not even that good of an actress. Happy you totally F----ed with me?"

Motes has struggled with her weight as well as living in the shadow of her successful sister.

Motes, who had been pet-sitting before her death, had made it clear her relationship with the 47-year-old actress was tumultuous.

She had said, "When I was in high school and she was an adult, she would just let me know that I was definitely overweight."

The death of her half-sister has caused Roberts to skip out on her Academy Award luncheon on Monday as well as her public appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

An autopsy was conducted, but Craig Harvery, chief of coroner investigations for Los Angeles County, has told The News that Motes "was found in a bathtub that contained water. There were prescription and nonprescription drugs found at the scene."

He concluded that, "The role the drugs may or may not have played is not yet known."
