Hallyu Star and actor Lee Min Ho became the new promotional model for Jaeju Airlines.

Last week, on February 3, 2013, the official spokesperson of Jaeju Airlines said that the company has selected actor Lee Min Ho as its new promotional model for the year. Lee Min Ho for the upcoming year is going to promote the Jaeju Airlines brand with print materials and on and offline promotional videos in and outside of the Jaeju Airlines planes. Lee Min Ho becoming the new promotional model for Jaeju Airlines could be seen as the extension of the various Korean companies using Hallyu stars to expand their market over to the Asian market. Lee Min Ho has been selected specifically to promote Jaeju Airlines because the company plans to fly more airplanes from and to Jaeju in China, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong as its target areas of interest, and a lot of Lee Min Ho's fans are people in their twenties up through the forties living in these target areas of interest. The same official spokesperson of Jaeju Airlines said, "We hope that with Lee Min Ho, who is in the middle of the Hallyu, as our new promotional model for Jaeju Airlines, it would be a lot of help for a lot more people to recognize the brand and us to be able to increase the brand's image."
