A source has told TMZ that the former Olympic athlete, who has been the subject of circulating sex-change rumors, wants "nothing to do with Hollywood."
Rather, he wants to spend time golfing, flying helicopters and riding motorcycles with his sons Burt, Brandon and Brody Jenner.
The 64-year-old star has reportedly been hesitant about shooting the current 11th season of the E!'s hit reality tv show and has agreed to only film scenes that will take place at his Malibu beach house.
The most recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" has been Bruce and Kris telling the family that they would no longer be living together, another explanation for his leaving the show.
According to TMZ, Kim's father has made the decision not to return for the twelfth season onwards.

There has been speculation that he's been in the process of undergoing gender reassignment surgery.
However, more recent allegations claim that Jenner is going through a midlife crisis. According to Dailymail, Jenner is suffering from a "Michael Jackson-like obsession" with going under the knife.
The midlife crisis theory may check out as Bruce has been seen in Malibu with a new Harley Davidson and a ponytail.
The Olympic gold medalist has also been seen sporting a new, voluminous look this week with what appears to be extensions weaved delicately into his hair.
The focus has also been on the decrease of his Adam's Apple, which he had gone under the knife for last month.
Talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, has been poking fun at the ever-changing looks of the reality television star.
Last week, Kimmel aired a faux Facebook video on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," showing the change in Jenner's now more feminine appearance.
The video went as far as showing photos of a more recent Bruce Jenner with the words, "Now you're our weird Aunt Bess" in the sequence.
