More details on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have been circulating.

First off, it has been announced that Fred Armisen will be the show's bandleader.

Unbeknownst to some, Armisen is an accomplished musician who actually began his career as a drummer for a punk group as well as the Blue Man Group.

The Portalandia star is set to "curate and lead" the 8G Band as he keeps busy with his own IFC show.

According to TIME Entertainment, others 8G Band members will include Seth Javour (Les Savy Fav) on guitar, Kimberly Thompson (has played for Beyonce and other stars) on drums, Eli Janney (Girls Against Boys) on keyboards, and Syd Butler (Les Savy Fav) on bass.

Armisen seem quite excited about the collaboration for "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

He told Splitsider, "I have always been a fan of Girls Against Boys, Les Savy Face and Beyonce. Eli Janney is such a huge part of making that deep, dense sound that Girls Against Boys are known for."

The former SNL cast member continued to say, "Les Savy Fav are so great. Their live shows are among some of the best I've ever seen. Syd and Seth are the perfect mix of noisy and melodic. Kim Thompson is an incredible drummer. Getting to watch her play is the best thing ever."

As thrilled as the comedian is to about the band, it seems he's most excited about one other thing as he adds, "It's been a lifelong dream of mine to write a TV show theme."

According to Antimusic, Seth Meyers revealed his first week of guests, which include Kanye West, who will be performing a song from "Yeezus," as well as A Great Big World, Brad Paisley and John Mayer.

Non-musical guests include Amy Poehler (for the premiere), Kelly Ripa, Lena Dunham, Anthony Mackie, Michael Che, Sophia Bush, Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart.

"Late Night With Seth Meyers" will premiere on Monday, February 24.
