The two main characters in "You Who Came From The Stars" have such sad relationship, because Do Min Joon has to go back to his home planet within a month or otherwise he would die.

On the seventeenth episode of the popular SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "You Who Came From The Stars" which was aired in the night of February 13, 2014, Do Min Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun, told Chun Song Yi, played by Jun Ji Hyun, that he must leave after a month, and Chun Song Yi said she cannot accept the fact. Although Do Min Joon had to leave within a month otherwise his soul would disappear, he could not leave Chun Song Yi alone.

After Do Min Joon confessed to Chun Song Yi that he has to leave the earth after a month, he cried. However, there was nothing he could do. Chun Song Yi, as soon as she heard Do Min Joon, teared up and said, "You are selfish," and left him.
