Actress Cate Blanchett won the Best Actress BAFTA award on Sunday.

The "Blue Jasmine" actress, who plays a troubled socialite in the film, dedicated her award to late actor and fellow friend, Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

The two met and starred together in the 1999 film, "The Talented Mr. Ripley."

At the podium, Blanchett breathlessly said, "I would like to dedicate this to an actor who has been a continual, profound touchstone for me, a monumental presence who is now sadly in absence: the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman."

She continued, "Phil, your monumental talent, your unflinching quest for truth both in art and in life will be missed by so many people."

The 44-year-old actress ended her speech with, "You raised the bar continually. Phil, buddy, this is for you, you bastard. Hope you're proud."

According to Us Weekly, the actress didn't stop with the praise towards the Oscar-winning actor even in the press room.

She reportedly stated, "I don't think I'm alone in the room having been profoundly influenced by Phil and his body of work but also by who he was as a person."

The actress continued, "His influence, I think. . . I mean, time will tell just how deep it was. If I could be half the actor he was in his unfortunately short life, I'll be very happy."

Blanchett was seen visiting the Hoffman's partner, Mimi O'Donnell, and their three children with toys in hand, shortly after the actor's death. She was also seen attending his closely-knit funeral service.

During the speech, the actress noticeably didn't mention or thank "Blue Jasmine" director Woody Allen, who has been struggling with child molestation accusations.

Blanchett had been called out by Dylan Farrow in her letter to the New York Times.

We're going to have to wait to see if she chooses to mention him during the Oscars on March 2.
