Fox's animated show will be making the transformation in celebration of its 25th season.

Following the box office success of "The Lego Movie," producers of the longest running television show in America have decided to dedicate an episode to lego magic.

The episode will be titled "Brick Like Me."

According to entertianmentwise.com, the episode will be based on Homer waking up and discovering that everyone in Springfield is made out of legos as he attempts to get back to reality before he is trapped in plastic permanently.

The premise is definitely one that'll attract viewers, especially those that enjoyed "The Lego Movie."

There have been a couple tributes to the 25th season of "The Simpsons" including a Halloween episode directed by Guillermo Del Toro along with an upcoming episode that will crossover with "Futurama."

According to Reuters, it has been confirmed that "The Simpsons" will return for its 26th season, in which producers have joked that one longstanding character will be chosen to die.

As the long-running television show is staying strong, so is "The Lego Movie," which topped the box-office once again.

The movie raked in $69.1 million in the U.S., just on its opening weekend and has now gone past the $100 million mark in domestic sales only.

Entertainmentwise.com has reported that the box office hit is expected to make around $140 million within 10 days of being in theaters.

"Brick Like Me" of "The Simpsons" will air on May 5.
