The production team of the popular MBC Monday Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" shared an official statement regarding the controversy that the team failed to pay the actors and actresses for starring in the drama.

One staff person from the Lee and Kimi production, which is the company that produces the popular MBC Monday Tuesday drama "Empress Ki," shared an official statement on February 14, 2014, and said in an interview, "There has been not one incident when we did not pay the actors and actresses. I do not know what prompted such rumor to spread out."

The same person then added, "We were very taken aback by the news."

Previously, the Korean entertainment management organization last Thursday released a list of drama and movie production companies that did not pay their actors. In addition, they shared a statement that said they would actively seek for the answers to when the actors would be paid. The drama with the most unpaid dollar amount of money was "The World That They Live In," which was filmed in 2008 by the production company called W. E. Z.
