The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was so boring last night that I could barely keep my eyes on my TV. Housewives never felt so scripted and manipulated as Beverly Hills last night. The Housewives turned on Lisa, Carlton is still insane, and Kyle still cares way too much if Carlton likes her or not. When did Beverly Hills become so uninteresting? 90210 Housewives used to be great, right?
The problem is that the Housewives storyline are getting so flat. Nothing is really happening besides their kids growing up and going to college. So stories have to be made up or embellished. The feud between Brandi and Lisa feels fake, and Carlton is starting with Kyle just to gain camera time. That's really all that is going on in Beverly Hills.
I was way more excited to watch Vanderpump Rules than the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although the Vanderpump reunion was trite and expected, at least there way actual drama. The Housewives in Beverly Hills worst problem was if a gold ring matched a blue necklace. At least Rules had lies, cheating, breakups and physical fights. There is none of that in Beverly Hills.
Is it the casting that's off or is their just a lack of activity in 90210 this season? The two most boring characters, Kim and Joyce, were left out for 99% of this episode and it was still a snoozefest!
My least favorite part of this season is Carlton Gebbia, who is really ruing this show.
Carlton is more than a wiccan, she's an utter witch! Pointing her bony finger saying, 'don't you dare come for me,' Carlton reminds me of the Wicked Witch saying 'I'll get you my pretty!'
Gebbia made such an issue out of Kyle's remark about Lisa's '1/3 of a nipple,' but then throws a party on RHOBH that has women with their nipples hanging out greeting the Housewives and guests at the door! How hypocritical. Carlton just doesn't like Kyle for no reason or she's stirring the pot for more camera time.
Carlton is either CRAZY or causing drama on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills to gain staying power on the show. There is no other option here. Carlton can't actually be sane or not wanting airtime to say these ludicrous statements. The RHOBH Jewish star debacle with Kyle...please! Kyle may not ne my favorite Housewives star, but she is not out to get Carlton Gebbia. Nobody is out to get Carlton actually, but Gebbia is sure that people are 'coming for her.'
Lisa is doing a bad job sticking up for Kyle, who is actually going way out of her was to be nice to Gebbia, even giving her a necklace right off her back and then trying to give her a ring. Stop in Kyle! She doesn't like you and hy do you care? Does Kyle actually believe she put a spell on her computer?!
In reality, Kyle is so nervous around Carlton that she trips up and says things she would not normally say if she were calm. But Kyle's words don't come from a bad place. Just nerves.
So RHOBH producers: I want Carlton off the show once and for all. She makes me squirm in my seat, and not in a good way.
The other storylines are forced yet boring. Either switch around the cast or make more fun storylines!
