Bette Midler will be performing at the Academy Awards for the first time.
According to msn.com, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Wednesday that the two-time Oscar nominated actress is set to perform at the Oscars.
The show's producers have reportedly been very secretive about exactly what number Midler will be singing.
Esther Zuckerman of The Wire has graciously decided to make some suggestions and guesses for us.
Going off of Oscar producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan's statement, "We believe she will make our Oscar telecast an especially moving evening," Zuckerman suggests "Wind Beneath My Wings."
Another guess was "One for My Baby," which Midler sang on Johnny Carson's last show.
Midler is one of this year's nominees for the documentary "20 Feet From Stardom." The documentary is about backup singers so it's also suspected that she'll be singing a number from the film.
Zuckerman also suggests that she'll be singing a song dedicated to one of her many movies. Possibly "Oh Industry" from "Beaches."
Maybe she'll even sing "I Put A Spell On You" from "Hocus Pocus" just for kicks and giggles.
The "For The Boys" actress has been added on the Oscar performance list with Pharrell Williams, who will be performing "Happy" and Idina Menzel, who will be performing "Let It Go" from Disney's hit "Frozen."
Ellen DeGeneres is expected to keep the audience laughing as she hosts on Sunday night.
ABC will be broadcasting the show live on March 2 in Los Angeles.
