Girls who are into the OC poster boy of geekiness "Seth Cohen" wouldn't be too pleased with this news.

Just three months into their engagement, former primetime darlings Adam Brody and Leighton Meester got hitched in a secret ceremony, revealed sources from US Weekly.

The former "The O.C." star, which made geekiness cool again, and the "Gossip Girl" actress was confirmed to be an item last February 2013. The pair - which both worked with Josh Schwartz -- had also been together in a not-so popular movie called The Oranges back in 2011.

They were described then to be "always close and friendly," reported by US Weekly.

There were no further details as to where or what led to the surprising event but UK Daily Mail caught up with the 34 year-old to ask if there is truth about the news of him tying the knot.

Brody just answered a brief 'yes' and showed his ring as he ran errands in the big LA.

"Brody looked happy and relaxed, broadly smiling in a red tracksuit top and jeans," The UK Daily Mail reported.

"Blair Waldorf" actress Leighton Meester was not around as she was currently rehearsing for the Broadway revival of play "Of Mice & Men", which also stars James Franco and Chris O'Dowd.

The lovable couple got married only three months after their engagement announcement.

Adam Brody, who gained following as the lovable nerd Seth Cohen on the primetime favorite The O.C., was asked about the possible future of his character if the series did not wrap up too soon.

In an interview for Nylon magazine for their February issue, Brody shared: "If I had to predict, I'd say Seth Cohen is dead.

"I think he'd be going down to Mexico and probably had a bad car accident. It wasn't any fault of his own, but yeah, knowing what I know now about Seth and his poor decision-making, that's my guess," he elaborated.

To offer consolation to the character's fans, he countered with a possible scenario in the afterlife!

"I mean, he's probably hanging out in heaven watching Jimi Hendrix and Lou Reed live," he explained about his "Cohen". "He's probably getting the best concert ever!"
