Taylor Swift has posted an instagram photo of her and Grammy "Song of the Year" Awardee Lorde spending time together in an unknown beach.

The caption read: "Bare feet in the sand on a Saturday."

The two have recently been hanging out together and was even seen embracing each other on the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer's birthday bash.

It seems Lorde's earlier criticism about her new friend is long forgotten as she talks about a potential collaboration with Swift.

Speaking with Capital FM Radio, the New Zealand superstar spoke of her admiration for her new BFF: "Yeah we are [different]," but I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music."

"I think that last record [Red] in particular, everyone was like 'Woah', a lot of ground has been covered," she added. "And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit," the "Tennis Court" pop star elaborated.

The new friendship is not sitting well with Selena Gomez' fans, who thinks that what Taylor is doing is a betrayal.

The former Justin Bieber flame has been in and out of rehab, and fans are claiming that Swift isn't doing her job as a friend.

Some are even speculating that the 24-year old country singer just want a piece of Lorde's popularity.

One user even commented on the Ocean Up's report: "I definitely feel like Taylor is a user now... I know people were saying that for a long time but I didn't usually buy into it. But now... I mean she was all besties with Selena so why is she suddenly all besties with Lorde? Oh wait, Lorde is gaining popularity. :/ Come on, Taylor, don't be like that..."

Former Disney alumni David Henrie and Demi Lovato are reported to be lending their support to Selena Gomez after her two-week rehabilitation stint ended.
