Chris Brown checked out of rehab on February 22, to the joy of girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Or who we thought was his girlfriend.

Despite reports that Chris Brown has been "constantly" thinking about Karrueche Tran while in rehab, the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer isn't ready to commit.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com that, "In Chris' eyes, they have a solid relationship and bond that's tight. He likes it and he wants to keep things between them just the way they are. He just got out of rehab. Don't expect him to all of a sudden now wife Karrueche up."

It seems that the up and coming model is okay with his pending commitment for now as well.

The source continued, "He's well aware that she wants a commitment from him but he's not ready for all that, and she's cool with that."

The fact that commitments aren't being made is raising eyebrows. It was assumed that Karrueche was fulfilling girlfriend duties by standing by him during rehab and preparing a Valentine's Day feast for him.

Hollywoodlife.com has reported that although boyfriend, girlfriend terms haven't been thrown around, the relationship between the "Fine China" singer and Karrueche Tran is "better than ever."

A source for the gossip website explained that Chris Brown "thinks about her when he wakes up and she's on his mind when he's retiring at night."

The source continued, "Chris knows Karrueche's not going anywhere and quiet as it's kept, Karrueche knows Chris isn't going anywhere either."

Now that he's out of rehab, Brown is trying to focus entirely on getting his career back on track.

According to entertainmentwise.com, a close friend has said, "He's more determined than ever to let X tell his story. He knows that it's do or die with this next album."

The friend explained, "Everybody has been waiting on this to drop for more than six months, and it's been pushed back several times that people probably forgot all about it. He doesn't want that."

Could his career be another reason for Chris Brown's lack of commitment towards the young model?
