It looks like Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are heading for divorce.

The two separated last Friday after Paula deemed the "Blurred Lines" singer's Miley twerk and recent butt grope inappropriate and "disrespectful."

The couple told People magazine in a joint statement earlier in the week, "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

Despite the "2 Guns" actress' feelings towards the marriage, Robin Thicke still wants to get back together with his estranged wife. It looks like he's trying to stray as far away from divorce as possible.

During his first concert since their split, the 36-year-old said "For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman."

According to Daily Mail, the singer then sang "Lost Without U," saying that he wrote the song for his stunning wife.

There is speculation that Thicke has been sending Paula Patton expensive floral arrangements to get back in her good graces.

He even flew to Canada, where she is currently filming, but the act was rendered useless, just like his flowers.

It has been reported that Patton dealt with months of embarrassment over Robin's public twerking with Miley Cyrus as well as photographs of Thicke groping socialite Lana Scolaro's bottom.

The actress reportedly said that the "dance" routine with Cyrus was "insulting" to her and that she felt "utterly disrespected," according to TMZ.

As Robin Thicke scrambles to prevent his marriage from ending in divorce, Paula Patton is finding comfort in former co-star Denzel Washington.

According to mstarz.com, there were rumors of Paula Patton and Washington "cozying up" on set. However, this time it seems that the actor is providing support and friendship for Paula during this difficult time.
