There seems to be daily updates on the upcoming "Batman VS Superman" movie, which is set to hit theaters May 6, 2016.
Now that casting decisions are slowly coming to an end, there is a lot of hype surrounding the new superhero costumes.
The Latin Post reports that Michael Wilkinson, who did the costume design work on "American Hustle," will be working on the costumes for the "Batman VS Superman" movie.
During an interview with The Wrap, Wilkinson revealed some details about his plans for Wonder Woman.
The acclaimed costume designer stated, "It's so important to get her right. She really deserves to be presented on-screen in her full glory."
Wilkinson continued, "So what I do is look at the history of how the character has been presented on the big-screen, and the small-screen, and in comic books, and graphic novels ... we try and create a Wonder Woman that's relevant for today's audiences."
He also revealed that he would be "tweaking" Superman's costume for the highly anticipated film.
Comicbook.com reports that the new batsuit and superman suit may already be done and in the process of being tested by director Zack Snyder.
Synder revealed, "We're getting ready to start shooting in a month or so. You know, Superman and Batman movies have never existed in the same frame together. So it's an interesting historical thing. We were just testing the suits, right? The new Batman and the Superman suit."
The director of the film continued, "It wasn't even with the actors. It was just to see them. I was standing there, they were standing next to each other. And I was like, 'Guys, someone take a picture! This has never happened before.' We slightly dork out."
As suits are being both made and tested, other actors seem to be happy with the current casting choices for the "Batman VS Superman" movie, specifically the decision of Jesse Eisenberg playing Lex Luthor.
"House of Cards" actor Kevin Spacey stated to Empire Magazine, "First of all, I think Jesse Eisenberg is a remarkable actor. He's just going to f**king own it. I think it's a great idea, and I wish him the best with it."
