“Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast members all know about the trouble Teresa and Joe Giudice are currently going through.
The LA Times reports that the reality television couple has pleaded guilty to federal fraud.
Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to failing to file a tax return for 2004 along with admitting that he didn’t file taxes on income of about $1 million between 2004 and 2008.
Teresa and Joe Giudice are scheduled for sentencing on July 8. Teresa Giudice may face 21 to 27 months in prison while Joe Giudice may face 37 to 46 months behind bars.
In response to rumors of the Italian native possibly being deported, his attorney told the Associated Press that “it would be a grave injustice, and inhumane, for him to be deported.”
While Teresa and Joe Giudice struggle to work through their legal and financial woes, RHONJ cast members have been tweeting their support.
Us Magazine reported that Dina Manzo tweeted, “It’s all how you look at it... perception is everything. #StayPositive #ChooseLoveNotFear. BTW if you get pleasure out of others’ pain or even partake in the neg gossip of all...it says so much more about you than them. #thinkabout it.”
Former RHONJ star, Jacqueline Laurita, also tweeted her support. She wrote, “Praying for a dear old friend and her family today. No matter what you’re going through, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it, but you can do it, and just keep working towards it and you’ll find the positive side of things.”
Although it can’t be confirmed whether Jacqueline meant that tweet to be for Teresa, we can only assume it was Laurita sending support to her former RHONJ cast member.
RHOA NeNe Leakes also commented on the now infamous case by stating during an interview with The Insider, “Honestly, I have to say I wish Teresa and Joe all the best because I don’t wish harm on anybody.”
The housewife continued, “I don’t want to see her have to go to jail. She is a mom, she has kids, I have kids, and her kids need her. So I just wish her all the best.”
Former RHONJ star Caroline Manzo is set to steer clear from all the drama by moving to sunny California. Radar Online reported that Manzo was seen checking out a seven-bedroom estate for sale in Studio City while out in California for business.
