"Avengers 2" is one of the most highly anticipated movies, especially after the success of the prequel.
"Avengers 2" has been experiencing some cast updates that fans should be updated about.
Everyone knows now that "Avengers" cast member Scarlett Johansson is pregnant. What the pregnancy will do to shooting plans for "Avengers 2" has been keeping fans nervous.
Entertainment Weekly has reported several speculations as to what the franchise will plan to do in lieu of the Black Widow's wonderful news.
The website reports that the cast may gather to film earlier than expected, possibly even as early as April 5, right after "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" hits theaters.
There is also the possibility of pushing back shooting, which may conflict with the planned release date. Fans will truly be upset if this were to happen.
The use of a stunt double has also been speculated as well as the possibility of a rewrite in the screenplay to reduce Scarlett Johansson's role in the film.
Both options would keep fans very unhappy, unfortunately. Most are guessing that the successful franchise will choose to go with the first option so the new mom-to-be will get her action heavy scenes out of the way before her baby bump comes along.
While fans wait on the film, they'll be able to get a sneak peek of "Avengers 2" in the new one-hour TV special premiering on March 18, according to denofgeek.com.
The TV special is titled "Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe" and will show footage from the three upcoming Marvel movies including "Captain America 2," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
The special is also set to show footage from the upcoming episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
