Anne Rice, who is known for her vampire erotica and support for Christina lit, has announced that she will be releasing a new book.

The popular author, who keeps fans waiting for her next book tour, announced on her son's live Internet show that she will be writing another Vampire Chronicles book, according to examiner.com.

The title of the book is reportedly going to be "Prince Lestat" and will be the sequel to Anne Rice's book "Queen of the Damned."

"Queen of the Damned," which was made into a film in 2002 was published in 1988 and told the story of Lestat becoming a rock-star and waking up the Queen of the vampires, Akasha.

This is the newest book for Anne Rice since the release of "Blood Canticle" in 2003.

The "Sleeping Beauty" author wrote to her almost one million followers on Facebook, "Dreams keep me going. Right now, I'm copy editing my next book - that is going through all the proof reading corrections made by the copy editor at the publishing house, affirming this and that correction and making inevitable corrections of my own."

During an interview with Examiner, Rice was asked if she had been thinking about her new book during her last book tour, Rice stated that she had been working on "Prince Lestat" for about three years now.

As her book tour comes to an end and details of her new book are revealed, Anne Rice has decided to fight against haters who trash authors on Amazon.com, according to Entertainment Weekly.

It has been reported that Anne Rice has signed a petition to require identity verification from the "bullies, trolls, jerks or whatever you call them."

The "Vampire Chronicles" author took to Facebook to state, "Amazon is such a wonderful system and so many go there to offer heartfelt authentic customer reviews of the books they read; too bad that the anti-author bullies have misused and abused anonymity there for their endless preying on writers."

She continued, "They are a tiny minority, true, but to the authors they harass and torment and endlessly attack, they are no joking matter."

"Price Lestat" will be coming out on October 28.
