Kendrick Lamar has addressed Macklemore's Grammy text.

Although Drake was very unhappy about the text that the "Same Love" rapper sent to Kendrick Lamar, apologizing for "robbing" him at the Grammy's, the Top Dawg star seem pretty okay about the whole thing.

The "A.D.H.D" rapper said in a Billboard cover story, "That text surprised me, but Macklemore is a genuine dude."

He continued, "However it panned out, I wish him much success. He touched people's souls, and no one can take that away. Really, the whole Grammy moment was incredible. Not everyone gets that shot."

The text that Macklemore sent to Kendrick Lamar was posted on Instagram by the "Otherside" performer himself.

It read, "You got robbed. I wanted you to win. You should have. It's weird and it sucks that I robbed you. I was gonna say that during the speech. Then the music started playing during my speech and I froze. Anyway, you know what it is. Congrats on this year and your music."

Rolling Stone reports that Lamar is looking to have a productive 2014, despite the Grammy results.

The rapper's label Top Dawg Entertainment will be releasing albums from Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rasha and female songwriter SZA while Lamar is planning to release his own new album this September.

While Grammy's drama is dying down, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are already talking about their next steps.

When asked by The Sydney Morning Herald if their new album will be heavy with social issues, Ryan Lewis stated, "I think there's a whole of us that feels like we're really lacking substance if we miss the opportunity to speak on things that are much bigger than ourselves."

The producer continued, "Ben writes what is honest for him, whether it was 'Same Love' or 'Otherside', those were things that were very much in his heart and on his mind. Big social issues have always been in the fabric of his songwriting and I don't see that ever changing."

As we expect more Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on our future playlists, the 25-year-old Grammy-Award winning half bought a $3.3 million mansion in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle to celebrate his success.
