The undefeated and controversial "Jeopardy!" Champ Arthur Chu is finally defeated, ending his 12-day winning streak on the game show and walking out with a total earning of $298,200. The question is: who beat him?
Arthur Chu, who is known for his unorthodox methods on winning "Jeopardy!" was dethroned by contestant Diana Peloquin of Ann Arbor, Mich. finishing in third place with zero dollars.
Chu struggled for much of the show in the Final Jeopardy round, he risked, and lost, his entire days roll of $6,400 on a question: "He was the last male monarch who had not previously been Prince of Wales."
It was Peloquin who got the question right by answering "George VI" and thus the undefeated streak ends for Chu.
It's been an amazing run," Chu said on the show, "This last couple of months has been one of the coolest experiences of my life."
He also expresses his thanks to everyone who supported on Twitter by tweeting:
Thanks for all the love guys. Hard to be hurt by a loss I've known was coming since Nov but seeing others react makes it real again

A self-described "mad genius," Chu gained notoriety for his controversial game strategy. Unlike most contestants, who stick with clues in one particular category before moving on to another, Chu liked to pick random clues from all over the board. He was also noted as the third most-winningest Jeopardy contestant in the show's history.
Will this be the last time we see Arthur Chu on "Jeopardy!"? And if he does compete again will he make TV history? We'll let Arthur Chu answer that one very soon.
