"Blade And The Petal" Actors Deny Dating Scandal

Another couple of k-drama actors is rumored to be dating but so far they have denied the reports.

In an article that recently ran in Sports Hankook, it was said that Kim Ok Bin and On Joo Wan, who became friends on the set of the drama "Blade and the Petal" were now a couple.

According to the article, the couple met frequently after the drama to talk about acting and have been dating for about six months.

Both actors are known for their friendly lively personalities. Both have appeared in dramas and films. Kim Ok Bin appeared in the 2013 film "11 AM" with Jung Jae Young and Daniel Choi and is in the 2014 film "Minority Opinion"

On Joo Won was in the 2013 film "The Five" with Kim Sun Ah and will star in the R-rated film "Human Addiction" with Song Seung Hoon.

When they starred in "Blade and the Petal" their characters fought. She played Princess So Hee, a woman who loses everything when her father and brother are assassinated. She dresses as a man to infiltrate the ranks of her enemies. He played Jang, a puppet king, put in place by her enemies.

The actress is four years older than On Joo Won.

When asked about the dating rumors, his agency, A-List Entertainment said that it was true that the two co-stars have met a few times. They asked him about the rumors and he denied them.

"It's true that they got together with their other 'Blade and the Petal' co-stars but Kim Ok Bin and On Joo Won are definitely not dating," said an A-List representative. "This is the first time we even heard that the two have supposedly been dating for six months."

Her agency, Well Entertainment also denied the rumors.

"We're not even sure how this rumor started," said the Well Entertainment representative. "We would be honest about it if Kim Ok Bin was dating. As in her previous relationships, Kim Ok Bin is honest if she is dating someone, but in this case it is just a dating rumor."

When the actress dated Huh Jae Hun, a member of the punk rock band Schizo, she was open about it, saying the two had been friends for a long time before they began dating.  She even impulsively kissed him on stage so that no one could doubt they were dating.
