The debate whether Woody Allen sexually abused his daughter is ongoing.
Last month, Dylan Farrow wrote an open letter that was published in the NY Times, revealing details of how the "Blue Jasmine" director sexually assaulted her.
The NY Times letter has caused conflict within the family as Farrow's brother Ronan and mother Mia sided with Dylan while brother Moses fought against her.
Woody Allen has vehemently denied having molested his daughter. Allen wrote in his op-ed piece in response to Dylan Farrow's letter, "Of course, I did not molest Dylan."
The "Annie Hall" director wrote, "I loved her and hope one day she will grasp how she has been cheated out of having a loving father and exploited by a mother more interested in her own festering anger than her daughter's well-being."
Stars seem to have developed their own opinions regarding the NY Times letter and Woody Allen.
According to E! News, Lena Dunham has expressed her disgust with the "Manhattan" star.
The "Girls" actress stated, "In the latest Woody Allen debate, I'm decidedly pro-Dylan Farrow and decidedly disgusted with Woody Allen's behavior."
She continued, "But for me, when people go through his work and comb through it for references to child molestations, that's not the f**king point."
The actress concluded, "I'm not gonna indict the work. I think that you can decide that you don't want to support the work of somebody who has molested a child. That's a completely appropriate choice."
As Lena Dunham explained how "nauseated" she is by Woody Allen, Scarlett Johansson recently expressed a different opinion.
The "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" actress spoke to the Guardian about Dylan's letter, stating, "I think it's irresponsible to take a bunch of actors that will have a Google alert on and to suddenly throw their name into a situation that none of us could possibly knowingly comment on. That just feels irresponsible to me."
The mom-to-be added, "I mean, it's all guesswork. I don't know anything about it. It would be ridiculous for me to make any kind of assumption one way or the other."
Actors Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin have distanced themselves from the allegations.
