However, according to the Huffington Post, Kendall's success has been raising critics' eyebrows as they claim that she hasn't earned her spot on those runways.

It seems that the young model is aware of her "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" fame and knows what she needs to do to detach herself from it.

Step one would be to drop her all-too-famous last name.

At DASH Miami's March 12 opening, Kim Kardashian was excited to brag about her sister's growing success in the fashion world.

Kim stated, "She went and auditioned, and she just goes by the name of Kendall, hoping that people won't think that she gets any handouts."

The Huffington Post reports that Kendall Jenner was accused of getting favors called in when she walked the Givenchy show during Paris Fashion Week because Kim and Kanye are good friends with the creative director.

Although Kim has explained that Kendall's reason to drop her last name is solely for her modeling career, some are suspecting that her father's recent sex change scandal may be the actual reason for it.

According to the International Business Times, as Kendall Jenner and her career separate from her famous family, she may be parting ways from the embarrassment caused by her father.

Bruce Jenner has reportedly been on every tabloid with updated details of his alleged sex change procedure.

His sexuality has been called into question after it was assumed that he got a "laryngeal shave," shaving down his Adam's apple.

Kendall's recent drop of her last name may also be a rebellious act against her parents' split after 22 years of marriage.

As their kids handle their divorce, both Kris and Bruce Jenner are living their own lives.
