Charlie Brown and Snoopy are heading to the big screen in 2015 and fans worldwide are very excited about it.

According to Mashable, we'll be able to experience the two beloved characters in 3D next year.

The trailer for the new "Peanuts" film from 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios has been released. Even from the 50-second trailer, Charlie Brown's wispy hair and Snoopy's fur seem so real.

Snoopy's red dog house looks touchable, which means that "Peanuts" fans have a lot to expect for the 2015 movie.

Despite the release of the trailer, any and all plot descriptions for the movie are being kept well under wraps.

Peanuts Worldwide, LLC, the company that controls the "Peanuts" franchise has released that the director will be Steve Martino and the producers will be Charles Schulz's son Craig and grandson Bryan.

During an interview with USA Today, Craig Schulz stated that the family has been very careful with Schulz's legacy since the death of the comic strip artist back in 2000.

Craig continued that the film is "long overdue" and that "the fans have been asking for a long time, but we held off until the time was right."

According to CBC News, the "Peanuts" movie will arrive in time to mark the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the holiday TV classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

We can agree with Schulz that the timing of the release and comeback of Charlie Brown and Snoopy is truly perfect.

The movie is set to hit theaters in November 2015.
