Nicole Scherzinger is not engaged to her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

Despite reports that the former Formula One world champion proposed to the singer at his Swiss mansion, a source has told Us Magazine that the allegedly engaged pair are still "working things out."

According to ndtv.com, the former Pussycat Doll and the 29-year-old Lewis Hamilton have dated on and off for more than five years and they have reunited after splitting up recently.

The source stated, "He hasn't proposed. They only just got back together at Christmas."

According to NY Daily News, the British racing driver had proposed to her three times before, all of which she said no to.

A source quoted in The Mirror stated, "Lewis will be the main breadwinner when Nicole is not working and she will always have access to his private jet if she needs to travel."

Despite these post-marriage plans, there may be a high possibility that Nicole Scherzinger turned down her boyfriend's proposal for the fourth time.

Recently boyfriend Lewis Hamilton and the "X-Factor" judge were reportedly photographed together in Rome, enjoying a trip to the Sistine Chapel.

Hamilton posted along with the picture, "This was a great day ... truly humbled by the Sistine Chapel, plus there with my wifey."

His reference to Nicole Scherzinger as "wifey" has further sparked engagement rumors.

Whether the two are engaged or not, we hope they stay together.
